It is important for real estate agents to always continue to improve their real estate knowledge, so they can be a better agent for their clients.  The National Association of Realtors has a long list of certifications and designations that a Realtor can acquire. Click here to see the list.

Each credential is specialized, and some require more coursework while others have experience and sales volume requirements. I have always valued education, so that is why I have 6 designations and certifications. Not only do these certifications and designations improve my skills, they also give me a larger network of agents as well as  members only publications and trainings.

I am going to tell you more about each designation and certification that I have, so you can see the extra value it brings to me as a real estate agent.

Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) is presented by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council. It is for agents who work with buyers and are focused on the best service for buyers.

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is presented by the Residential Real Estate Council, to the top residential sales agents.
