When you move in to a new home, take a video of your home after you have everything unpacked and you are completely settled in.
With cell phones having great video capabilities, how could you not be doing this?
Sure, it is always helpful to have lists and records of everything, but it is even better to have a second backup, especially a visual one.
What if your home gets broken into?
What if your roof has a leak and ruins some important items?
Or worse yet, what if a hurricane (or some other natural disaster) severely damages your home?
You should get into the habit each year, of taking a video of your home and anything else of importance.
